Harry Maguire becomes the most expensive defender in the world after completing his summer move to Manchester United.
Maguire pen six-year contract with The Red Devil with renewal option that will keep him at the Old Trafford till the further year.
The transfer made Maguire current holder of the world most expensive defender, surpassing Virgil van Dijk transfer from Southampton to Liverpool for a reported fee of £75m in January 2018.
Manchester United agreed to the transfer deal last Friday while Maguire undergo medical on Sunday at Carrington and it’s understood that Maguire could make his debutant in their opening season match this Sunday against Chelsea.
Maguire was part of Hull city team who gained promotions to the Premier League in 2016, unfortunately, they relegated back to the championship the following season he later joined Leicester for a transfer fee of £17m.
