Atalanta has officially confirmed the signing of Martin Skrtel in a free transfer from Turkish side Fenerbache.
The 34-year-old Slovakia international player arrived at Bergamo this morning and had a medical with the Seria A team before signing a one-year contract that was said to be €1m.
Skrtel carries worthy experienced to the club and will be participating in the club first Champions League in history.
Skrtel made over 300 appearances for Liverpool between 2008-2016.
He captained Slovakia football team for many years before announcing his international retirement earlier this year.
He chose to wear the number 37 Atalanta jersey.
