Alexis Sanchez has reportedly turned down a loan move to Seria A side Roma, despite after Manchester United agreed on paying half of his salary.
It was understood that the two clubs have agreed on terms of the transfer deal that will see Sanchez joining Roma on loan with Roma paying only half his €9.5m per year wages, but the deal will not involve buy out option.
The 30-year-old Chilean joined Manchester United in 2018 from Premier League rival club Arsenal in a swap deal that included the Armenian international midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan but Sanchez is yet to make practically impression at the Old Trafford.
Manchester Utd Attempts to sell the Chile international has so far become clause and they hoped they can still transfer him overseas to Italy, Spain or France.
Sanchez made 27 competitive appearances for Manchester Utd last season contributing only two goals and four assists.
